The peace and love in music…

First, a joke:

Q:  Why were the dark ages so dark?
A:  Because they had so many KNIGHTS! (get it, nights? knights?)

Now on to Philosophy:

There is Peace & Love in Music.  Especially like songs for a girlfriend or a boyfriend, or songs about God.  Or maybe the first religious songs that I know of could remind you of peace and love.  They were the psalms.  I like this one: “Mercy and faith have come together; righteousness and peace have given one another a kiss.”

Over the summer I picked some of my favorite love songs for a playlist…here’s the list:

Redemption Song by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Lucky (feat. Colbie Caillat) by Jason Mraz
All You Need Is Love by The Beatles
Longest Song by Ryan Griffin
Is This Love by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Love Me Do by The Beatles
Treat Her Like A Lady by Jimmy Buffett
One Particular Harbour by Jimmy Buffett
Orange Blossoms by JJ Grey
Sideways by Citizen Cope
Slide by Ryan Griffin
Easy Does It by Ryan Griffin
Eight Days A Week by The Beatles
Dew Drops by JJ Grey
Happy by Ryan Griffin
Ain’t my Baby Grand by Ryan Griffin
I Am by Ryan Griffin

Have music always, Tanner.

Tanner, these are great songs. I was thinking that we both love what my necklace I wear a lot – Live, laugh, love. Maybe they should add peace to it. I love you so much! Keep writing your awesome thoughts!
