The Jumping Fish, a poem by Tanner Griffin (copyright 2012)

There was a fish that jumped so high,
He jumped so high, he reached the sky.
Fell into the World of Sea,
Humans all ’round him and me.
And then, and then, and then, I think,
Sea World Parks have opened. (Wink.)

  2. What a fun poem, Tanner. I see the Shel Silverstein influence but your individuality still shines through!

  3. This is really a creative poem and I love the play on words. You have to wonder, is this how Sea World came up with their name….:) Love you so much and really enjoyed our day together on Friday! Hugs, Hugs, Hugs!!!! YaYa

  4. Tanner, did you know that Shel Silverstein is one of my favorite artists ever? Not only did he write and illustrate amazing books, but he also wrote quite a few famous (and other not so famous) songs. You should totally look them up. He was quite an amazing man. I’m glad you are experiencing him. I love you! -Aunt Nen
