THE CLOWN
An original poem by Tanner Griffin – copyright 2013

Once upon a time, in a ballet, there were 3 pigs: Ed, Ted, and Fred.

But Fred could not get all the moves right.
So they sent him away and filled Fred with fright.

Fred joined the opera, but he couldn’t get pitch.
And he was definitely a clown when he got an itch.

Then he thought, “Clown – wait a minute! I could be a clown in the Eleven Pig Opera!”

And Fred played clown all the way until pigs said, “OINK.” And stopped singing.
